<how's it up there?>

As a followup to my previous reply I tried a semi-quantitative approach to see what's on Germans' minds these days. I searched the German Google News with a couple of keywords. One could write a long essay interpreting the results. Some observations:
- The "USA" has more relevance for German media than Germany's own political union, the "EU".
- Soccer is as popular as always.
- US Conservatives frequently accuse Euros of using some topics as pressure tools against the USA ("Guantanamo", "global warming", "ICC"). In reality these topics receive little attention.
- Germany is closer to Britain than France ("Blair" 4x as relevant as "Chirac").
- Space exploration ("NASA") receives more attention than "sex".
- More articles on "China" and "India" than on "terror".

Here's my little table, first column German keyword, then number of hits, then translation/explanation if necessary.
