Sure, lots of anecdotal evidence all around. But, IMO, trying to force a square peg into a round hole (reducing more complex questions of political bias into a wimpy 'social left/ social right' false diacotomy) is apt to not be particularly useful. The economic left / economic right axis is an important and useful metric to use... but so is the Libertarian / Authoritarian axis, so are biases for and against religiousity, etc. The world is full of color, trying to pretend it's only black and white is silly and unhelpful.
