The question for me is will China be able to buy one LRCX tool then copy it 100x with no royalties to LRCX? One belief is many chip assets are being sold off at so many places because you can't make money with things like Fiber optic components if your designs, including the chips, are reverse engineered and copied then sold to all the other companies doing business in China where they don't have to follow US law there either.
