The only impact it had on the average Joe was to increase his share of the debt used to fund the bailout. Some say that is $30 billion a year forever. One of the scamsters I'd like to hear more about is Neil Bush, brother of a Prez and son of a Prez. Dems don't get off scot free, either, as Lloyd Bentsen was an S&L promoter and owner. His kid is my Congressman. Speaking of Neil Bush, who has 3 brothers, one has to wonder. Dubya we know has been screw-up his entire life and an inside trader. Jeb is the dumb one. Neil doesn't hide his crookedness as well as the first two. And nobody ever mentions Marvin. What the heck did Marvin do wrong not to get a mention among his unaccomplished siblings? Other than some vague scandal about DFW Airport, I never hear his name.
