The percentage of women age 16 and over in the civilian labor force. The percentage for men is 70%.


So the math is 57/(57+70) = 44% of the work force is women. I believe my estimate for a representative number on the court was up to 40%.

I think my guesstimate was fairly accurate - given that this 44% is not what's currently in the pool of Supreme candidates but someday could be.
