CIPH was up more than 36% at its H of 2.65 at 10.30 this morning.<g> It announced today the formation of a strategic alliance to develop and commercialize its proteomic diagnostic tests with DGX biz.yahoo.com On June 27 CIPH also announced a pact with Bayer to analyze patient samples from a PII and try to identify biomarkers that could predict response to an experimental Bayer compound for cancer. And on June 28, a research team in Cincinnati reported discovering a series of biomarkers in urine using CIPH's equipment, that may reduce from 3 days to 2 hours, the time to identify the first signs of potential kidney failure in patients undergoing open heart surgery. The stock was not able to trade today above its June 2 H of 2.65 <g> bigcharts.marketwatch.com As previously mentioned,the revenues on the 1st Q were down 50% and the loss/shr was also up to $0.32 vs. $0.23 in 2004.
