The percentage of women age 16 and over in the civilian labor force. The percentage for men is 70%.

So the math is 57/(57+70) = 44% of the work force is women. I believe my estimate for a representative number on the court was up to 40%.

I don't know what the 57 stands for.......I got my 60% number from the link right next to that paragraph that says Women in the Civilian Work Force.......the number was actually 59 point something.

I don't know what math you are doing up above but its 60% of the total workforce....for men, its 70% of the total workforce.
