Bill Gertz is a big neocon BS artist liar. This is the same guy who went on Fox News before the war claiming to have "proof" that Saddam was funding Al Qaida training camps. It seemed like very big news at the time. If true, it gave us almost an obligation to invade. But none of it turned out to be true. As for troops hating people who criticize the war, probably no one bitches and moans about the war and the rich oilmen they're fighting for more than the grunts and jarheads. But they are what they are and love their job (or love/hate it) so they do their best. The soldiers are not political and the rightwing attempt to use them as political pawns and props is disgusting.
