re:If men would stop being so focused on the numbers and allow for equality to work its magic

You brought up the 50% number - how is it you think numbers are key in one part of the discussion but not others - sort of selective don't you think.

Because its the natural ratio number for the population.

re:Did you know that the decades-long, sizeable gap between girls and boys in math and science has narrowed....that girls are competing in those areas almost on par with the boys?

Girls have always scored higher than boys until high school and then things begin to change the other way.

The gap has widen in the past ten years and the boys are not closing that gap in high school.

re:Men have to take the same interest in their sons that women have taken with their daughters.

Should I express outrage at the condemnation you just made towards men?

It wasn't condemnation. I am saying that men need to take more of an interest in their boys......actually the ones who are not paying attention now or maybe not.......maybe that isn't the problem. Assuming I am correct and boys are slipping behind per their test scores, why do you think that is? From what I've read, I had come to the conclusion that fathers are responsible for the slippage but that may be the wrong conclusion.

You said some crap to me about the my statement women are more likely to stay home and nurture and raise children than men and therefore I assume the work force will never reach parity.

I don't think I did......maybe Amy?
