I don't believe you've fully thought about the effect of your future actions will have on your family. What ARE YOU DOING? You could have shut your friggen mouth and gone your own way, like ever other attorney with a case against MTXX, but NOOOOO, you had to be different. You're speaking from a perspective of ignorance. You obviously don't understand how this all works. For example, there have been approximately 2,000 Vioxx cases filed thusfar. Yesterday the judge indicated when the first trials would be, and estimated that there could be as many as 100,000 cases ultimately. How does she know that many could be filed? Experience. Once the bellwether cases are selected, those are the cases that will be tried first--period. You can file 50,000 more cases, and the bellwether cases will STILL be tried first. So what is the advantage of filing a bunch of new cases? There is none. Don't fool yourself (or others) into thinking there are no more claims out there. There are. Bank on it.
