To understand the Laffer argument -- ask yourself -- what is more damaging to the economy, taxes too high or taxes too low? Obviously, we can't get it exactly right, so which side to err on? Taxes too high, the government has more money than it needs. Is this good for business or bad for business? Which is more important to the economy, business or government? Bonus question -- which sector of the economy creates the most new jobs?
