Greetings

Have you ever attended a tournament? I live in Tokyo for much of the 70's-90's and went to many events. My golden age was when they actually had 4 Yokozunas and 4 ozekis at the same time in the mid 80's.

My favorites are
Kitanoumi Wajima Mienoumi Takamiyama Chiyonofuji

I can still remember seeing one match back in the late 70's where Wajima and Kitanoumi faught in the final match of the tournament and it lasted so long it had two breaks for rests.
By the time the match ended and Wajima won but both champions collapsed in the ring totally exhausted. I still watch once in a while via TV Japan but have lost track of who is who.
