Rove was very close to Enron and owned 250,000 shares.

Bet you can't prove up that claim. According to the chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, Rove only owned 1,350 shares of Enron.

"Karl Rove...refused to sell his 1,350 shares of Enron stock after he went to work for the Bush White House...he finally cashed out in June - before Enron's collapse. When he sold his stock, Enron was worth more than $50 a share..." So writes Kathy Sullivan, chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party.
