Sam,

I am "cleaning house", but I am only selling stocks that make up a small percentage of my portfolio. I am holding CSCO and the semi-equips and, probably, NCDI and OXE.

The "indicators" are high valuations, the attractiveness of mutual funds to the general public, the "idea" that a fundamental change has occurred in the business cycle, the economic "generals" fighting the "last war" (inflation), and, most recently, the shift from "quality" to the "cats and dogs" (euphemistically called "small caps").

I am not a committed bear, but I don't want to hold anything that doesn't have excellent visibility and prospects.

Cary
