Dear Dioderon: Sir, this is my first post on this thread in a month or so. I could not help but respond to you comment about not having to be a religious zealot to live a moral life. Being a Christian for 30 years, to me, IS about trying to live as righteous a life as I possibly can, because when you "announce to the world" you are a Christian your life becomes an open book for the world to browse through whenever they want.. It is not a simple life that the Lord has called me to,: I am constantly aware that my actions are being examined and that my greatest witness is what I don't say rather than what I do say. While trying to do the best I can;, What drives me forward like an engine reving up on the starting line is that I know God's standard is perfection and without perfection, without living a perfect life we will never see heaven--unless of course we apply the remedy to our lives that God has provided. Your "goodness" or "virtue" or "right living" is not the issue what do you intend to do about the one or possible more times that you have sinned ???? With all sincerity.........gregor
