See, ion, when you are constantly reminding everyone of how you are not judging them and you are thinking good thoughts about them regardless of whether they are polite to you, that makes you seem judgemental and condescending. If one truly is non-judgmental and truly is thinking good thoughts about others in spite of their impolite behavior, then one need not say so. Such virtuous attitudes are their own reward and need not be announced.

It's like the condescending "I pray for you" that often really means "I think you are evil and will burn in hell for all eternity, and I pity you for it." If they really mean it, then how does announcing the fact that they are praying help anything? It doesn't - it only makes the person saying it feel morally superior.

If you disagree with someone's ideas, just say so and say why. With most people here, I think, it is not disagreeing that chafes - it is condescension that does.

Hope that helps and if it doesn't, I'll pray for you.

Wait! No, I won't. D'oh! I'm not sure. Never mind. ;-)
