the muslims have a very serious problem when it comes to acceptance of their 'denouncement'

how many years did certain leaders naively accept arafat's denouncements of terrorism? denouncing on the one hand, facilitating on the other

what is more important?

denouncement or actions taken to stop the attacks?

actions speak louder than words, and frankly one simply cannot accept at face value any denouncement made by even so called moderate muslims

realizing that some muslims literally will lie to advance their belief system (called "Al-Takeyya" google the term for more about the concept)certainly complicates how we deal with them...for now the prudent course, imo is to assume they are lying, and let them prove otherwise, you simply cannot accept the words of so-called muslim moderates

we have a saying in the west...

fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...

there is just too much at stake to be fooled by lying imams and mullahs

<edit>

found a definition of al-takeyaa

Al-Takeyya
The Islamic principle of lying for the sake of Allah. Falsehoods told to prevent denigration of Islam, to protect oneself, or to promote the cause of Islam are sanctioned by the Qur'an, including lying under penalty of perjury in testimony before the United States Congress, lying or making distorted statements to the media such as claiming that Islam is a religion of peace, and deceiving fellow Muslims when the one lying has deemed them to be apostates. See the Islam Review article for documentation of this from the Qur'an and the Hadith. The practice of Al-Takeyya is commonly employed to declare a Hudna.
