i don't doubt that the officers were on a hair trigger in light of recent events

i still also believe they took the necessary actions to prevent the detonation of a suicide bomb, knowing what they were looking at and dealing with at the time

those who are being critical are simply arm chair quarterbacking after having the luxury of time to assess that there was no bomb

like i said, regrettable, but the runner sealed his own fate

he was given fair warning, imo
