bottom line over reaction by cops.

I agree with the police on this one. The only sure way to keep him from setting off a bomb was to kill him. It had to be a head shot to keep from hitting any explosives. The number of shots is a normal reaction in this situation. It sounds out of line to us, but most police do discharge multiple shots when they shoot.
