I don't like the bet. The odds need to be calculated before any wager is discussed. The odds are extremely high that Bush won't be impeached. Good grief man, there is a Republican majority in the Senate and House. If the Democrats win back either or both in '06, then the odds go down. But even then, its much more likely that Bush would step down, if it is proven that crimes were committed, which hasn't happened yet. So impeachment of Bush is an extremely remote possibility at this juncture, making a straight up bet foolish. To take such a bet, the odds would have to be astronomical such that a $10 bet would have to return zero's $500K.
