tejek,

re:
I no more like seeing the Aryan Nation march in Cour d' Alene than seeing a shark when swimming in the ocean, but I will be the first to defend the Aryan Nation's right to march even though violence usually ensues. Better to keep them in the light where we can all see them, then force them to go underground.

I know what you're trying to say and I agree - I don't mean to suggest we start banning the KKK or others who's messages we don't like. It's a slippery slope for sure to start banning speech of any kind.

I guess I would try to clarify hate speech (in this context) to mean inciting or promoting violence. I'll use the - yelling fire in a theatre example - it's illegal for endangerment reasons not only to those in the room - but others who may die in a fire while the fire dept. wastes time chasing a false alarm.

Also, the punishment in the this case would be revocation of status in the USA - which of course only works until they are citizens (like London). Damn I feel I'm painting myself into a corner. :-)

Can we at least spy on the guy and bug his phones?
