You know about the troubles in Ireland. I suspect there have been much larger percentages of folks there (Catholic and Protestant) who think violence is fully justified. Six percent seems like a very small number to me- and of that six percent almost none will act out.

There are greater potential threats than terrorism, and there are greater proven actual threats. Armed with that information, I am not going to spend my time worrying about it. WE were searched on the ferry due to a heightened alert in SF (and maybe nationwide)- and that's fine. Search people. But I'm not going to let that worry me. I could die today of all sorts of things, terrorism is one of the least likely things I could die from. I'm not actually going to worry about ANY of the things I could die from, but I'll be careful, and I'll live my life. That's all I'm saying.
