I wonder if "nuking Mecca" would be considered "hate speech"? My guess is it would to the Muslim world. He would definitely be jailed in 80% of the Muslim world for saying that in a public square, and if he wrote it in any meaningful forum and got caught he would be jailed. On silly chat boards like this the rules for anonymous posting are less clear. The board would probably just be banned from the network. There is a blog in the country where I live that was discussing topical issues about the country. The government shut it down a few days ago. In other words, "YES"!
