The print from Firefox is, however, smaller than from IE.

The way Firefox handles font size is the main reason I switched and that is still my favorite feature. It's easier to size than in IE and has a much larger range. IE allows only five sizes and you have to go to the Edit menu to change it. FF has what seems to be and unlimited set of font increments. CNTL+ to increase it and CNTL- to decrease it. You can get it so big you only have one word on the screen, should you be so inclined.
