My Japanese wife has several times when travelling around the world been guessed to be South American. Incidentally the Japanese and the (American) Indians all have Mongolian ancestors and thus what one may no longer call "slant" eyes and dark skin. Really? What else? Do they think you're Asian when you have a tan and drunk a bottle of wine? He could have looked Latvian but you would say he looked Asian just so the cops are exonerated. Let's talk about your bias.
