TD and CMG,

Based on what the 3 of us have been told, it sounds like we have identified at least four wells that will begin in 1997.

I think our info on Sorrell is in synch. We know they will spud one well in about ten days. I'm pretty confident they will spud a second well there in 1997 as I explained in my earlier post. John was very clear about their plans to use the same rig for the second well as soon as the first was complete. Of course, the timetable for the second could slip into 1998 if they experience some delays in completing the first well or if they experience some (I hate to even think it) unexpected results.

Our info on LaRosa is not in synch. I was told four wells before the end of the year and CMG was told two. Four sounds a little hard to believe considering that we are almost at mid-September already. But I think these are shallow targets that won't take the usual 40-45 days so maybe they can start three or four in 1997.

You guys didn't comment on Santo Bay. I'm sure John said they had plans to spud a well there before the end of the year.

Anyway, sounds like a lot of drilling will occur over the next 3 or 4 months. If they can start out with a hit on the next Sorrell well we'll finally see some action on this stock.

Talk to you soon,

Joe
