Yes Carlyle bought the baggage screening company three months before 9-11. I have no idea why but it can't be dumb luck. More likely, like GW and Rice, they were privvy to the CIA warnings about upcoming hijackings and decided to invest in the possibility of it. Remember, through Bush Sr. (and others) they are the only company that can get CIA briefings.

In other words, they are a corporation which abuses its secret power and connections like no other. They are abig part of the Bush-Cheney Texas gang of thieves and pirates.
