The problem is the rich are getting off scott free. This has been proven, that the rich are getting richer and middle class and poor getting poorer. Of course there are exceptions, but when you get rid of taxing huge estates and stock dividends you basically make being an idle billionaire tax-free. Completely tax-free.

That is neither fair nor wise. It's also strange how many struggling Republican voters choose to allow the rich to run their party's fiscal policies. Howard DEan was right about that. The people who craft Bush's tax policies are for government for the rich, by the rich, in other words for and by themselves. And do they hire more maids and butlers as a result? Not many. Do they send their kids to war? Nope. So what do they contribute?
