Many Bushies are completely out of touch with reality. They are still living in some wonderland fantasy world after 9-11 when everyone was rallying around Bush. Remember those 85% approval ratings? Yeah, those were the days. The USA loves GW. Except whoops, now he's at 42% and falling. Most Americans simply don't trust Bush anymore and don't like any of his policies. That doesn't make them "liberals" and certainly not extremists. It makes Bush supporters the stick in the muds, and many of them extremists. Anyone who supported terri Schiavo's "right" to be kept alive as a vegetable is an extremist, for instance. Mel Gibson included. After 9-11 (which Bush should be held partially responsible for) 99% of Americans would have rallied around any president, even Ralph Nader. Furthermore, even Ralph Nader would have invaded Afghanistan. But name one popular thing Bush has done since Afghanistan and letting Osama go at Tora Bora. You can't. He has totally screwed up. The only reason he's in power is that Rove and that gang have fixed elections and become Nazi-like experts at manipulating just enough public passion around irrelevgant wedge issues like gay marriage, which Dems aren't for either.
