It is interesting that the Republican party is lead by a very centrist President while the Democrat party is lead by the extreme left wing. What does that say?

The shrillness of people when disagreeing with others is saddening to see. A wise man once said, it is better to remain silent and be thought an idiot than to one one's mouth and remove all doubt. Abe Lincoln was famous for holding his tongue when he thought ill of another. If more posters on SI were like President Lincoln, it would be a much better place.
