Also think Hillary is seriously looking for middle ground on the abortion battles that can get 60-70% support from both lifers and choicers. Something like banning late term abortions, having family notification--both with some exceptions when the mothers life is in danger in #1 and when the parents are neanderthals as in #2. Add to that the conservative pro-stem cell position that allows the use of embryos on the way to the dump and you have the makings of a popular social policy that will be anathema to pure lifers and the kate michelmans of the world but acceptable to most americans. In a milieu like that the SC wont have to deal with Rowe and just rule on the edges. mike
