After a two percent revaluation of the Chinese monetary unit Yuan last week, Chinese officials have announced that the Yuan will not be convertible for at least five more years.

Although China has the the fastest growing economy in the world, China's Central Bank Monetary Committee Member Li Deshui has confirmed no convertibility for Yuan for another five years.

China has increased the value of Yuan by two percent, signaling that "reforms still continue", but those who were expecting revaluation were not satisfied with this increase.
