We know that the White House lied about his involvement from the start. We know that his account is directly at odds with Cooper, suggesting that he is lying about what was said. And we don't have any clear account of his "source" of information. We know what he was trying to do - smear Wilson for providing information that completely discredited the phony nuclear threat that Bush et al were counting on as a justification to invade Iraq. I have to disagree with you -- whether it was a form of treason remains to be seen, but it is certainly shaping up to be obstruction of justice, and Bush has taken no action. I can only assume that neither man has the integrity to serve in high office. It now looks like we will have to await criminal conviction before any action is taken -- it is a travesty.
