That's a toughy. A lot of folks think indoctrinating their kids in their religion is one of their parental rights. When you truly believe your kids will spend eternity in a pit of fire if they fall away from their religion, it could become a really ugly conflict between parental concerns and education. I hate to see it framed as a conflict (to use Kholt's language). But on the other hand, when students are exposed to lots of different beliefs, some will find beliefs more suited to their natures than their parents' beliefs were- and that will cause great grief to the parents, even where it might enrich the life of the child.

Where can you go with that?
