Perhaps in that case criticism would have come posthumously. No officer should ever lightly regard the decision ot react with deadly force. Officers should be trained to make that determination in a split second. Consider the hundreds of thousands of opportunities they face to make that decision, and the incidence of use of deadly force.

The world morns the loss of an innocent victim. Terrorists are responsible for making this a less safe world.
