Competition for material property and even greed is definitely one piece of the puzzle. There are many other equally valid issues and perspectives that must be given proper consideration if resolution and reconciliation is ever to be achieved.

In some ways it is a massive puzzle with many parts that can be fit together. To fixate on the material alone is like taking one piece of a puzzle and trying to lift all the others on to it, rather than simply placing the one piece in its proper place.

Please explain to me how that achieves world peace? How does it explain bombing the giant Budda sculpture by the Taliban, the Shi'a and Sunni conflicts in Iraq and elsewhere, the history of hindu and Muslim battles in India, the civil war in the USA, the execution of King Charles by Oliver Cromwell ... etc.
