how can you believe his perfection is not possible? It's not possible here, in this world. Do you know any perfect people? Also, the question you asked Greg, I think what you are seeing is the gradual corruption of a faith over time. The religious text is not changing; it is the interpretations and practices that change. This goes back to the imperfect nature of humankind. imho, Christianity today has become judgemental, hate-filled, and war-mongering. But the Bible is the same even if very few people understand and follow it; Jesus condemned much of what is today done in his name.
