It took me a few minutes to absorb your words. Here's what I came up with. At the time when we bombed Baghdad I was not as savvy about politics as you were. Things were more black and white about Iraq to me, although I was tuned in to Bush being a big lying, cheating president. One of my first gotchas from George I spotted was when he addressed those folks at Ground Zero, and he put his left arm around that elderly fireman. Somebody yelled "I can't hear you!" Right then I spotted a scam. THAT was a set-up, and I just knew it, knew it, knew it. His reply was far too fast for a guy with his I.Q. Too perfect a reply he did make. You on the other hand knew much more than I, so you suspicioned more hanky panky by him regarding the lack of yellowcake from Niger, no WMDs in Iraq, and some other falsehoods that I was eating up like apple pie. Had to figure that one out for a bit.
