I was not pleased either when the bombs fell on Baghdad. I cursed it, and told people Bush was a war criminal - because Iraq did not do 9-11 or attack us.

Now - I was also someone who would not have objected if we had used a nuke on Kabul after 9-11. And tactical nukes on all of the mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan, where Bin Laden was hiding - irradiating the entire measure for good luck.

That's where I came down on it then - and I'm not sure doing that then wouldn't have been better than what we did in Iraq. We would have gotten the majority of them - including Bin Laden, and not occupied Iraq as we've done.

It is possible to be both against Iraq, and for a severe response after 9-11.

I was not "pleased" when the bombs hit Baghdad. I fought so hard against the war (and the lies) that I felt the tragedy very deeply. I still can't believe we couldn't stop the madness ...
