Well, far be it from me to ever defend Bill, or him ever to welcome my doing so... but I'd prefer he retain posting rights here. He may not post from the centre but it's decidedly more considered and less outrageous than many. So I'll invoke the Voltaire defence on his behalf. [French philosopher as against Porch, for historians <ahem>] Besides which, a closed forum dies too fast. It's worth allowing the alternate voices, to convincingly present their own arguments. And abuse that generic wasn't really directed, after all.?
