Sorry, I don't believe we "know" any such thing. Got proof?

While Cooper says it "Was it through my conversation with Rove that I learned for the first time that Wilson's wife worked at the C.I.A. and may have been responsible for sending him," he also "wrote that Rove never used Plame's name, nor indicated that she had covert status."

The covert status issue is key, Re: "We know what he was trying to do - smear Wilson"

I see no evidence that Rove knew of her covert status, in fact the indication would be to the contrary here. What do we really know that would convict Rove of plotting to get Wilson? Nothing.
