actually tried to broker a deal through a buddy of mine with Maxim about 5-6 years ago. OVTI was at approx. 3.5 and could have been acquired for a total of 85million $$ or so and Maxim knows better than anybody mixed signal technology. OVTI is a dog. Even though its at its six month low, Price to Book and Price to Sales are both over 2. It has 57 million shares outstanding. Combining cash on hand and short term investments, its worth roughly $3 to 5 per share. All that would be forgivable if were growing revenues fast but revenue growth appears to be stalling.
