Now that we have SI Sentiment, which can also be manipulated by people with an agenda, it's even more important that people know they can start a new thread for the same ticker. If you can't create one as a free member, let me know and I'll change it so that free members can create threads. And if the "you_banned" message doesn't already say so, I'll make sure it says that you can create a board for the same ticker and give a link for doing so.

Dave and I will also discuss the Moderator model and see if we need to tweak it or our policies. For example, Dave removing moderating capability from stock-specific boards that he in his sole discretion feels are having bans mis-used. As is our right, and as I'm inclined to exercise now that someone with an agenda can not only silence (redirect, actually) a critical voice, but also a low rating.

In the meantime, though, keep in mind that multiple boards per ticker *are* allowed here, and if you feel strongly enough that ticker XYZ is a poor investment, start a fairly-moderated board to say so and to give it low ratings with your posts.

Ratings are ticker-based, not board-based. So if 3 people give XYZ a 10 rating on a moderated cheerleading-only board, and 3 people give it a 1 on a separate board having the same ticker, the average score still comes out to 5.5 for the ticker.
