The innuendo intended by your post, however, is another matter entirely. I don't want to step on Dave's toes, as I don't envy him his job or want it, having done it myself for years, but you and I have some history and my curiosity here is really strong. If you read innuendo into his post, why would that be worthy of a ban? Please consider your answer carefully as Dave and I are both paying very close attention and this exchange is likely to have a direct impact on how the policies surrounding the Moderator feature of this site are implemented/changed. Basically, I'd like to know your perspective on this and whether you can show me that my face-value read on this (that it's a shining example of a need for change) is incorrect. We don't want to see the Ban feature used capriciously or manipulatively, more-so now that a stock rating system is involved.
