Hold your pro life views as the only moral way--thats your right. But most folks dont think like that and my only point is that to reach consensus in a diverse nation such as ours, compromise requires subtle changes in position at the margins by both sides. You dont want to compromise on this subject, thats fine. But there are reasonable folks on both sides who in the desire to reduce the number of abortions may be willing to make a grand compromise on this issue at some point down the road. You, otoh, probably want to impose your view on the rest of us, just like the Naral folks.
If you had a 13 year old dsughter and she was raped and became pregnant what would you do? And if your answer is to force your child to carry and give birth to that child, arent you violating her rights to freedom by forcing her to do this, assuming she doesnt want to?
