Roberts is the penalty we pay for letting Bush-Cheney cheat and lie into get into power. As a people, we should have soundly rejected the Florida voter roll scrubbing, the smearvets campaign, the 100% dishonest Bush TV commercials and insisted that voting machines leave a paper trail. The Republican party in particular has all but handed over its end of the political system to whomever can cheat better. They actually reward and promote whomever cheats and lies best (like Enron's Ed Gillespie and karl Rove). But the press and people as a whole also need a wake up call. When the biggest cheater and liar wins, America loses and it's time to reform the system.
