They maybe making a better living now then 3 years ago cause everyones got a job and no one has time to cook anymore.

This is like saying that GM is making more money this year, because they are selling a lot of cars at employee discount.
By definition, a company should be breaking even with employee discount. So either GM is losing tons of money or the employees are shafted because of the bogus discount.

Tell me how can a pizza operator make more money this year, if his costs are going through the roof but the price of his product stays the same. While he may be getting some more volume, there is no way he can put out 400 pies a day unless he stays open 24 hours a day and people are eating pizza all day and all night, 7 days a week.
The fact that nobody wants to cook anymore because making food at home costs more, just proves my point, costs are going up. Either the price of pizza goes up or the guy closes the shop and starts flipping real estate.
