Great post Bill, you are our benefactor and our Pappa Kahuna

>>>only I disagree with you on one very small point... I don't think our expectations were that far off<<<

Exacto -mundo, the S & P is about at the same point now as it was in mid June. Bears have a small window of opportunity, so bears have to be smarter and a lot luckier than the way above average bull.

Traditional valuations are useless in a market that trades on technicals. This market trades like a commodity and is baffled about by the whims of day traders.

The danger that we all know about a market like this, is that when the day traders/specialist/bond traders smell blood they will be short the market like hell and the buy and hold crowd will be left holding the bag.

If this thing blows-off like crazy the rest of this week like I expect it to, and the inflation #'s do what I expect them to, I see the bleeding starting next week on the 16th when CPI comes and and into the 19th when the house wants to bring in the chips on all the options bulls 10/1 index call to put ratio. Raging bulls will be whining puppies.

bobby beara, when the bull to bear ratio hits 10 to 1 the end is near.
