Where the bushies sometimes go wrong is to equate human liberty with democracy. That doesnt always have to be the case. There are many roads apart from the western or american models. But human liberty is an absolute virtue. But according to geode, lets let bin laden set the agenda and not challenge him on issues of liberty and he will leave us alone after subjugating the arab and muslim world, africa and parts of europe. Just like hitler or stalin would have left things alone if they were unchallenged. Nonnsense.
