Arab violence against Jews (riots and violent atrocities) began in the 1920's. The centuries old Hebron Jewish community was wiped out in 1929.

The mideast has long been one of the most savage places on earth. In the past century, over 1.5M Armenians and .5M Assyrians were wiped out in the ME. I guess this is not terrorism per se, but its worse.

Redfish's post also failed to mention 1) the Stern gang and Irgun were forcibly suppressed by the mainstream Jewish defense group and 2) the leader of Palestine's Arabs, Haj Amin Husseini (and Yasser Arafat's uncle), didn't just attempt an alliance with Nazi Germany - he actually made such an alliance. He spent the WWII years in Berlin and helped raise pro-Nazi volunteers among the Muslims of the Balkans.
